MADE IN AMERICA
Kelly Gorsuch is an American entrepreneur. He is a tinkerer with an insatiable hunger for learning new mediums. He utilizes this drive to collaborate with other makers and to create products and concepts with a focus on local materials and American manufacturing processes. His child-like curiosity and tycoon's ambition make him a serious player in the American-made movement. He can often be found in the solitude of his workshop in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Caleb Woodard is a nationally recognized designer and maker of heirloom quality furniture. He works out of his studios in Washington, DC and Nashville, TN.
All of Caleb’s materials are sourced from local arborists using trees that were damaged by storm or disease. He uses router sleds to flatten the tops and bottoms and chainsaws to remove the bulk of the material. Hand tools finish the work, slowly shaping until the form is completed and then expertly finished.
His pieces blur the line between art and fine furniture. We are happy to carry Caleb’s work and hope you admire his designs as much as we do.
